Will I get it started? This project or the engine?

Over six years in the making, I am finally starting on one of my project cars. This is a 1969 Volkswagen Beetle that was given to me a friend so it wouldn't sit in her parent's back yard and rust into oblivion. The rear wheels were sunk into the ground, left rear brake drum was fused to the brake shoes, and it hadn't been started in maybe a decade. I was able to get it home where it sat for another 6 years in a shed collecting dust, pollen, and mud dauber nests. Time to get this project started, as well as the engine.
