Barron reacts to Jayme's recovery

The small town of Barron is breathing a sigh of relief now that Jayme Closs is finally home. Barron native Edward Deacon says it's been a difficult roller coaster of emotions for Barron and it's still hard to believe. "This doesn't happen this close to us,” Deacon says. “It was devastating.” The community is happy she's home, but still feeling a painful void. "Her dad would come into my convenience store, he would always buy scratch off tickets,” Deacon recalls. “Very, very nice guy." As more details are released, Deacon says he can't fathom what she's been through. "As a 40-year-old, I don't think I would have the strength and courage she had to endure what she endured for three months,” says Deacon. “She has to be so strong." As for Jayme, Deacon says this community will rally together and take it one day at a time. "This community always sticks together,” says Deacon. “We just hope and pray for her healing. We just want justice."
