19-Year-Old Woman Dies of Heart Attack While Dancing Garba in MP

Khargone (Madhya Pradesh) – A festive Garba night turned tragic in Palasi village of Bhikangaon tehsil when a 19-year-old newly married woman collapsed and died while dancing with her husband at a Durga temple on Sunday night (28.09.2025).

According to eyewitnesses, the woman suddenly fell unconscious during the dance. A video from the event shows her collapsing to the ground and remaining motionless. Doctors later confirmed that she had suffered a fatal heart attack.

The deceased had been married just four months ago in May and had come to the temple with her husband to take part in the Navratri celebrations.

The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the village, with locals expressing shock at the sudden demise of the young woman.
