Spartacus: House of Ashur Looks to RUIN Series' Legacy This December

After a 12 year gap, Spartacus is coming back with a new series, House of Ashur, and it will debut December 5th. The premise of the series is already fighting an uphill battle, but the overwhelming sense of dread surrounding the character of Achillia has long time fans of the show very skeptical.

Steven S. DeKnight is back in his original role as showrunner, but that doesn't mean anything anymore. The likes of Russell T. Davies coming back to Doctor Who after a long absence has put to rest the idea once great talents are evergreen. Given how DeKnight has gone to war with fans after the disastrous debut trailer, cause for concern is warranted and very much deserved.

Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.
