It might look like something out of a horror movie, but it’s very real. Its hunting method is the most terrifying part — the worm launches a sticky, branching web from its body, almost like a living net.

Once this web wraps around its prey, there’s no escape. The victim is trapped instantly, pulled in with no chance of survival.

Nature can be both ingenious… and incredibly creepy.
