Michigan Mormons Murdered | Thoughts from an Ex-Mormon

Yesterday, 40-year-old Iraq War veteran Thomas Jacob Sanford rammed his truck into the side of an LDS (Mormon) Church in Grand Blanc, Michigan, shot many during their worship service, dosed the building with gasoline, and then set the building ablaze.

4 are confirmed dead (including children) and 8 others injured in this evil attack. The shooter himself was gunned down in the parking lot by local police.

As an ex-Mormon, this absolutely breaks my heart.

While I’ll be the first person to point out the false doctrines of Mormonism (the religion), I have nothing but love for Mormons (the people).

Most Mormons are honorable, moral people who have a sincere love for Jesus Christ. (And, yes, Mormons are most certainly Christians).

I condemn and loath all violence against my Mormon brothers and sisters in the strongest possible terms.

As an ex-Mormon myself, here are my thoughts and insights into this horrific shooting.
