The REAL Story Behind Terence Crawford's Shocking Omaha Police Stop

On September 28th of 2025, on Terence Crawford's birthday, we were pulled over by the Omaha Police. There were 3 other people inside the car, along with the driver, Bud Crawford.

Qasim Shabbazz, who is the head of Bud's security, as well as I, and a young lady whom I won't mention by name, were in the back seat of the car. What's being reported by OPD does not tell the story of what led up to the Officer pulling a gun on Crawford, ordering him to get out of the car.

Qasim Shabazz also had a gun pointed at his head by a second Officer. A 3rd Officer pulled up and pointed a gun at my head as well. According to the OPD's official statement, Terence Crawford was pulled over at 1:30 AM.

While speaking with the driver, an officer observed a firearm on the driver's side floorboard. For safety, all four occupants were ordered out of the vehicle at gunpoint.

The driver was later identified as Mr. Crawford upon verification of his driver's license and was issued a citation for reckless driving. One passenger, a member of Crawford's security team, was also found to be carrying a legal firearm.

Police have confirmed that all occupants are legally permitted to carry firearms. A supervisor and lieutenant responded to the scene at Mr. Crawford's request - end quote.

The officers had on-bodycam footage of this incident, and the footage will show that the officer's reason for pulling a gun on Bud is a dam lie! What's not being told is what led up to the officer pulling his firearm and pointing it at Bud's face.

What's not being told is what led up to the second officer pulling his firearm and pointing it at Bud's security, Qasim Shabazz's face. What's not being told is what led up to the 3rd officer pointing his firearm at my face.

This is a problem that goes on all the time in the City of Omaha, Nebraska. Bud Crawford's situation is being highlighted because of his high-profile status.

But what about all the other brothers and sisters who have to live with this type of terror on an everyday basis? I want to shed light on that. As for me, I personally was in fear of Terence Crawford's life.

I was in fear for Qasim Shabazz's life. And I dam sure was in fear for my life. When white police officers pull guns to your face and tell you to unbuckle your seat belt, it's the scariest sh*t in the world.

Why? Because at that point, there is something called a justifiable homicide. The officer orders you to do something, you do it, and then, bang, bang, bang. The official report will be, "I thought Coach Malachi, or Bud Crawford, or Qasim Shabazz, or any other black male was reaching for a gun.

Qasim Shabazz will be on the show today to explain who he is in relation to Bud Crawford and what he does in the City of Omaha. As well as what happened from his perspective.

As a disclaimer, I've been advised not to go into the full story of what happened as it relates to Bud by a member of his media team. Why? Because there's an ongoing legal investigation that's going on as we speak.

The Mayor, internal affairs, lawyers, and some powerful people are involved in this as we speak. However, guns were pulled on me as well, and I have to represent myself in this situation, as well as those in North Omaha who deal with this daily.

However, I can talk about what happened to me, Qasim, and the young lady who was in the car that night. To say I was afraid is an understatement. There's a lot that I can say, but the truth will come out.

I hope that the body cam footage gets released, so that the people can see what happened, and what was said from the beginning of the altercation.
