What role does awareness play in understanding God? How does our consciousness affect our understanding?

In Part 1B, we begin to examine how leaving the Garden of Eden and having our eyes opened to the consequences of our decisions, has left us vulnerable to Satan. Satan may not be aware of his own inability as a finite being to comprehend the infinite God. Still, he is very aware of our vulnerability and uses it to control our consciousness as we become aware of our own vulnerability. Through this, he establishes his forms in us that work hand in hand with our self-centered nature to trust our own understanding rather than Jesus.
