Investigation Heats Up for Epic Universe Over Park Guest Dying on Stardust Racers

The family of the deceased Stardust Racers rider at Epic Universe in Orland has hired a lawyer and wants answer from the park on what happened.

On September 17, 2025 a park guest died in what medical examiners ruled to be from multiple blunt impact injuries. According to Universal and the state inspection agency, the roller coaster was operating normally and no mistakes were made on the part of employees. However, the family wants to conduct their own investigation into the matter and have retained the services of a high profile attorney. This likely means the family is getting ready for a lawsuit despite reporting thus far suggesting this was a tragic accident that couldn’t have been prevented.
