A French TikTok influencer is being forced to stop her Christian content out of fear for her family

An Iraqi Christian man, Ashur Sarnaya, was brutally murdered in Lyon, France, while livestreaming his faith in Arabic. He had fled Iraq in 2014 after ISIS threats, only to lose his life in Europe. His killing has shaken the Christian community, leaving many fearful, especially as the suspect remains at large.

French TikTok influencer Margow_en_Christ (225k followers) now says she is being forced to stop sharing Christian content due to constant death threats and fear for her family’s safety.

Sarnaya’s relatives and community describe him as a kind, deeply religious man who loved spreading the gospel. His cousin called him a martyr who “spent his last moments doing exactly what he loved.”
