Kim Strassel: Trump’s $100K Fee on H-1B Visas ‘Is a Problem.’ There’s Not Enough Young Americans Skilled to Take These Positions

We are not producing enough young Americans with the right skills to take on positions. Just last year it issued hundreds of these visas for manufacturing engineers we are not producing those here. There is also economics the unemployment rate for American workers in these fields is extremely low suggesting known is going wanting for a job. We just do not have enough people to fill these positions so you’re going to hurt companies. You’re going to rob the country the very crucial time at a.I. And other breakthrough times of crucial mind power and it just seems like this is not a great idea. Paul: allysia you’ve looked into this pretty closely what happens to a company if they cannot import some these workers and they cannot find them coming out of American graduate schools and colleges? What are they due?”
