TRUTH has fallen, EQUITRY cannot enter - Looking for Truth in all the wrong places SWD 152 #remnant

It's time to seek God's truth - because we're looking for it in all the wrong (human) places.

This message is meant to punch through the noise and bring God's people to the realization that seeking someone elses version of the truth is going to bring us answers - but ONLY GOD'S TRUTH delivers something intangible.

God has more truth in store for His people that abide in Him and heed His voice...so let's try to press into that truth together.

TRUTH IS FALLEN – EQUITY CANNOT ENTER
God supplies an unimpeachable standard, yet sinful society either ignores it, silences it , or blocks its entrance
The absence of uprightness leads to societal injustice.
- A culture that sidelines truth inevitably incubates oppression, proving that
- morality is a public commodity
- not merely a private virtue.
Covenantal Accountability:
- God’s people are measured against His unyielding plumb line of uprightness.

ISAIAH 59 – JUSTICE IS TURNED BACK
AND RIGHTEOUSNESS STANDS AFAR OFF
FOR TRUTH IS FALLEN IN THE STREET AND EQUITY CANNOT ENTER

ISAIAH 64:4 - 1 Corinthians 2:9
"But, as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him'".
God has things for His people that are beyond human imagination and understanding.

John 4:24 - God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
John 5 19 - Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
John 6 38 - For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
John 14 6 - 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 8 43 - Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you are unable to accept My message. 44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me!
1 john 3 8 - He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

- hence, assurance, believe, bring up, establish, be faithful (of long continuance, stedfast, sure, surely, trusty, verified), nurse, (-ing father), (put), trust, turn to the right.

EMETH
1. stability, certainty, truth, trustworthiness
2. occurs about one-hundred-twenty-seven times across the Old Testament.
3. While the English word “truth” often suggests bare factual accuracy,
4. אֶמֶת embraces reliability, stability, integrity, and faithfulness.
5. It is used for the very character of God, the content of His revelation,
6. the ethical standard for His people, and
7. the hope that guides eschatological expectation.
