Occam’s Razor Gardening, Cooking & Canning Ep 122

Welcome.

Looks a frost this week. A low of 2 C in a couple of days will decide what plants make it through to November. The beans are starting to taper off and the squashes with dead vines have been harvested last weekend, and other than the one that fell to the ground overnight for this recording, the others await the frost it seems.

The Sunflowers are done and remain to desicate until composted. In the front the will continue to be a pole for the last of the morning glories, which are also starting to yellow a the daylight dwindles ever more shorter.

The mid days can still reach the low 20s with higher humidex, but next week will bring the real end to day time summer temperatures, ending any new crop growth, but will continue to feed roots and bulbs and hardier plants like kale.

Look for more updates until the snow flies.
