WHEN THE NEXT SHOE DROPS

The next shoe is about to drop. Are we ready to make the needed changes, or are we willing to let our children and grandchildren suffer the consequences of our inaction?

As we wonder when the next shoe will drop, we had best realize that this time the shoe might actually be a boot and it might drop right in the middle of our face, just like O'Brien described in the classic novel 1984. The world we thought we knew has been fundamentally transforming before our eyes until it represents the exact opposite of the traditional American society based in faith, family, fairness, fundamental truths, and rule of law.

Although a growing number of Americans fatalistically accept a future where we have no privacy and are watched 24/7/365 to assure that we make only "acceptable" and "sustainable” decisions for the “collective good”, many of us refuse to accept the notion that God's laws should be replaced by man's laws. Knowing that man is inherently evil by nature when left to his own devices, and that all governments become more controlling as they become more powerful, the notion that bigger government is preferable to small, locally controlled government, flies in the face of reason.
