There is No Neutral Position

In this brief excerpt from the course, Creation, Science and Faith, Dr. Barber discusses how there is no neutral or objective position as is commonly claimed today.

Everyone has presuppositions, assumptions from the outset that they take for granted, an ultimate authority to which they are committed whether they admit it or not.

Christians need to acknowledge and practice absolute commitment to God's Word, the Bible as their ultimate authority, assume the Bible is entirely correct from the outset, presupposing and taking for granted what God has graciously revealed and perfectly preserved in Scripture.

We must never let ourselves be deceived into abandoning the only firm ground of Scripture for supposed 'neutral ground.'
