I believe in us, and I’m willing to dig in and do the work of creating experiences where we can remember what it’s like to have differences, but still feel like we’re in this together. We cannot continue this division, and the work starts with a handshake and vulnerability, which we often find in music.

My show is 1.5 hour concert and storytelling event. I talk about how I grew up in a cult, sing songs about what it was like to lose everything and build my own identity (a mix of rock and folk), and how I navigate the world now. Irene’s Entropy is my perspective on how to navigate this chaos, and bridge the gap that has been wedged between us.

About Irene

Irene is a storyteller, artist, mechanical engineer, and musician who found herself navigating the collapse of her identity after leaving Mormonism. She created Irene's Entropy, making content and sharing stories to hundreds of thousands of social media followers. Her content chronicles her journey learning to navigate her mental and emotional landscape in personal, academic, and entrepreneurial environments.

Irene has a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, and spent four years working in aerospace as a lead design engineer and project engineer before choosing to pursue Irene's Entropy full time.

Her work as a musician is her passion. She is lyrical and poetic, her voice smoky and raw with a genre defying approach to songwriting. Her concerts effortlessly move from piano ballads and acoustic arrangements to full rock and roll and even symphonic orchestra. She enjoys flying planes, good fashion, and gin.
