But they don’t know what happiness is

I’m part of the Happy Housewives Club
Where we love our men and we live for love
Rockin’ these aprons, wearin’ ‘em proud
Dancin’ in the kitchen, music up loud
We make a house feel warm and bright
Fill it with love and we do it right
No, we ain’t missin’ out on nothin’ but stress
We’re livin’ the dream, and we wouldn’t trade it for less

They call us desperate, but girl, we’re free
Ain’t chained to a desk or a dead-end dream
We run this home like a CEO

Raisin’ babies, budget’s tight
But we stretch a dollar and sleep at night
Homeschool lessons at the kitchen table
