Electronic Deadbolt Dead?? Time for Fresh Batteries! 🚪⚡

Today I stopped by a property to do some simple but important work. Part of the job was checking on the place and making sure the entry system was ready for the next tenant.

This home has an electronic deadbolt, which is great for convenience — until the batteries die. And when that happens, you’re locked out unless you’ve got a physical backup key.

Here’s what I did today:

🏠 Checked the property to make sure everything else looked good

🔋 Replaced the dead batteries in the electronic deadbolt

🔑 Tested the lock to confirm it’s working again

✅ Reminded myself (and now you!) why it’s always smart to keep a working physical key handy

💡 Why this matters in property management:

Electronic locks are nice, but technology fails when batteries run out.

Tenants need reliable access to their home at all times.

As a property manager, it’s my job to ensure all systems are functional before move-in day.

👉 The small details, like working locks, keep tenants happy and homeowners protected. This is the unglamorous but essential work behind the scenes of property management.

Let’s Get to Work! Let’s Go! 💪
