What is the reward for those who believe in Surah Yunus

is statement number 43. And we will be describe in this that: ( What is the reward for those who believe in Surah Yunus ) So sisters, brothers friends and elders, Our aim is to learn and teach from the Quran and Sunnah, reflect on history, and seek solutions to problems with divine guidance. May Allah Almighty make our this statement beneficial and a source of light for all hearts.

Surah Yunus, the tenth chapter of the Holy Quran, speaks not only about the fate of disbelievers but also gives glad tidings to the believers. This Surah offers hope, encouragement, and a clear picture of the rewards awaiting those who live with faith and sincerity. It explains that belief in Allah and obedience to His commands bring peace, protection, guidance, and eternal success. By combining descriptions of worldly blessings with promises of Paradise, Surah Yunus inspires believers to remain steadfast in their devotion.

One of the most uplifting verses is Surah Yunus verse 26: “For those who have done good is the best reward and extra. No darkness will cover their faces, nor humiliation. Those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.” This verse explains that believers who live righteous lives will not only receive Paradise but will also enjoy the “extra,” which scholars have explained as the blessing of seeing Allah in Paradise. The description of faces filled with light and free from humiliation shows the honor and dignity Allah grants His faithful servants.

The Surah also emphasizes that belief brings inner peace and protection from fear. In verse 62, Allah declares: “Unquestionably, the allies of Allah, there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.” This verse teaches that true believers, who are close to Allah, are freed from anxiety about the future and grief about the past. Their reward is not only in the Hereafter but also in the tranquility they experience in this world through their connection with Allah.

This idea continues in verse 64, where Allah says: “For them are good tidings in worldly life and in the Hereafter. There is no change to the words of Allah. That is the great attainment.” Believers are blessed with guidance, reassurance, and the promise of eternal reward. The Surah explains that Allah’s promise never fails, making the reward of the believers guaranteed and everlasting.

Another important point in Surah Yunus is that belief protects individuals from the fate of disbelievers. In verse 9, Allah says: “Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds, their Lord will guide them because of their faith. Beneath them rivers will flow in the Gardens of Pleasure.” This verse highlights that faith leads to divine guidance, which in turn leads to Paradise. Believers are rewarded with eternal gardens, flowing rivers, and the joy of living under Allah’s mercy.

The reward is not limited to the Hereafter alone but also includes blessings in this life. Believers gain contentment, guidance, and the comfort of knowing they are on the path of truth. In verse 25, Allah says: “And Allah invites to the Home of Peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path.” The Home of Peace, meaning Paradise, is promised to those who believe. This shows that belief brings both immediate peace in life and eternal peace in the Hereafter.

The Surah also provides a comparison between believers and disbelievers, showing the stark difference in their final outcomes. In verse 26, believers are promised honor and eternal bliss, while disbelievers in verse 27 are warned of humiliation and darkness. This contrast reminds believers of the value of their faith and motivates them to remain firm in their devotion to Allah.

The sayings of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, further explain the reward for believers. In Sahih Bukhari, Hadith number 4776, the Prophet said that Allah has prepared for His righteous servants in Paradise what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever imagined. This hadith matches the promises of Surah Yunus, showing that the reward for believers is beyond comprehension.

Another narration in Sahih Muslim, Hadith number 2826, states: “When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, Allah will say, ‘Do you want anything more?’ They will say, ‘Have You not brightened our faces? Have You not admitted us to Paradise and saved us from the Fire?’ Allah will then lift the veil, and nothing will be dearer to them than the sight of their Lord.” This hadith directly relates to Surah Yunus verse 26 about the “extra” reward. It shows that the greatest blessing for believers is not only Paradise itself but also the vision of Allah, which is the ultimate joy.

The Surah also reassures believers that their good deeds will never be wasted. In verse 109, Allah commands the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, to remain patient until Allah judges, for He is the best of judges. This assures believers that their efforts, patience, and struggles are seen and valued by Allah, and their reward is guaranteed.

Belief also provides protection from despair and loss. Surah Yunus verse 85 recounts the words of the followers of Prophet Musa who said: “Upon Allah we have relied. Our Lord, do not make us a trial for the wrongdoing people.” Their trust in Allah saved them from oppression. This illustrates how faith leads to deliverance, both in this life and in the Hereafter.

In conclusion, Surah Yunus describes the reward of believers in powerful and hopeful terms. They are promised peace in this world, glad tidings in the Hereafter, honor, eternal Paradise, flowing rivers, and above all, the vision of Allah. The Surah teaches that belief is not only about escaping punishment but about attaining blessings that far exceed human imagination. Through verses that highlight dignity, light, and eternal success, along with the sayings of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, the Surah reassures the faithful that their efforts and sacrifices are never in vain. The message of Surah Yunus inspires believers to remain patient, steadfast, and devoted, knowing that their reward with Allah is secure and everlasting.

We conclude today's discourse with our this humble supplication: O Allah, purify our hearts, accept our deeds, forgive our sins, and include us among Your grateful servants. Amen
