is statement number 35. And we will be describe in this that: ( What does Surah Yunus say about Tawheed ) So sisters, brothers friends and elders, Our aim is to learn and teach from the Quran and Sunnah, reflect on history, and seek solutions to problems with divine guidance. May Allah Almighty make our this statement beneficial and a source of light for all hearts.

Surah Yunus is the tenth chapter of the Holy Quran, revealed in Makkah with one hundred and nine verses. It addresses the foundations of faith and highlights the reality of the Hereafter. Among its most important themes is Tawheed, the belief in the oneness of Allah. Surah Yunus explains Tawheed from different angles, reminding mankind that Allah alone is the Creator, Sustainer, and Judge. It refutes polytheism and emphasizes that true success lies only in worshipping Allah without partners.

The Surah begins with a reminder that the Quran itself is a book of divine wisdom. In Surah Yunus verse 3, Allah says: “Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne, arranging the matter of His creation. There is no intercessor except after His permission. That is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Then will you not remember?” This verse lays down the foundation of Tawheed by declaring Allah as the sole Creator and Manager of the universe. It rejects the idea of multiple gods and makes clear that worship is due only to Him.

Surah Yunus further emphasizes that no one besides Allah has the power to benefit or harm. In verse 31, Allah commands the Prophet to ask the people: “Say, who provides for you from the heaven and the earth, or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges every matter? They will say, Allah. So say, then will you not fear Him?” This verse exposes the contradiction of the polytheists. They admitted that Allah was the Creator and Provider but still worshipped idols. The Quran calls them to recognize that the One who controls everything deserves exclusive worship.

Another strong message of Tawheed is found in verse 18: “And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, these are our intercessors with Allah. Say, do you inform Allah of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth? Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.” This verse rejects the false belief that idols or saints can serve as intercessors without Allah’s permission. True Tawheed means turning to Allah directly, without intermediaries, because He alone has complete knowledge and power.

Surah Yunus also reminds mankind that all power belongs only to Allah. In verse 65, Allah says: “And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress from what they conspire. Indeed, all honor belongs to Allah entirely. He is the Hearing, the Knowing.” This verse reassures the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and the believers that despite the arrogance of disbelievers, Allah is the ultimate source of honor. No idol, leader, or worldly power can grant dignity. It is Allah alone who raises or lowers people, and that is the essence of Tawheed.

Another aspect of Tawheed in Surah Yunus is that guidance comes only from Allah. In verse 35, Allah says: “Say, is there any of your partners who guides to the truth? Say, Allah guides to the truth. So is He who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who guides not unless he is guided? Then what is wrong with you, how do you judge?” This verse shows that idols and false gods cannot guide anyone. Only Allah provides true guidance, and therefore following Him alone is the path of success.

The Surah also highlights the importance of relying on Allah alone. In verse 107, Allah says: “And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him, and if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” This verse explains Tawheed in the aspect of Lordship, showing that no one other than Allah can control harm or benefit. Turning to idols or worldly powers is futile, as only Allah holds complete authority.

The teachings of Surah Yunus about Tawheed are supported by the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. In Sahih Muslim, Hadith number 1977, the Prophet said: “He who died knowing that there is no deity but Allah will enter Paradise.” This hadith shows that Tawheed is the foundation of salvation. It is exactly the message that Surah Yunus delivers, calling humanity to worship Allah alone and reject all forms of shirk.

The Surah also points to the signs of creation as evidence of Tawheed. In verse 101, Allah says: “Say, look at what is in the heavens and the earth. But signs and warnings do not avail a people who do not believe.” The natural world, from the heavens to the earth, is full of signs of Allah’s oneness. The alternation of day and night, the growth of plants, and the cycles of life and death all testify that there is only one Creator. Reflecting on these signs strengthens faith in Tawheed.

In conclusion, Surah Yunus provides a comprehensive understanding of Tawheed. It declares Allah as the sole Creator, the Provider, the One who controls life and death, and the only source of guidance and mercy. It rejects the false belief in intermediaries and reminds mankind that only Allah can remove harm and grant benefit. Through its verses, the Surah invites humanity to worship Allah alone, reflect on the signs of creation, and submit to Him with sincerity. The message of Tawheed in Surah Yunus is timeless, reminding believers that their success in this world and the Hereafter depends on recognizing and living by the oneness of Allah.
