Ingredients
2 lb of cooking apples
1 lb of cranberry
16 tbsp of cider vinegar
1.1 lb of granulated sugar
1 teaspoon of peppercorns
0.1 lb of fresh root ginger
1 lb of onions
1 lb of regular apples

Directions
Wash, peel, and core the apples, then wash the cranberries and onions. Thinly slice the onions. Put all the ingredients except the cranberries into a large saucepan.

Bring to a boil and then turn the heat down to low and simmer uncovered for 50 minutes. Stir often until the apples and onions become tender and the mixture has thickened. Add the cranberries and cook for another 10 minutes.
