Wind Advisory in effect and a Winter Storm Warning coming our way

A Wind Advisory has been issued for Kern County from Sunday at 3 p.m until Monday at 1 p.m. This will bring strong winds reaching 60 mph in the Grapevine and possibly reaching gusts around 75 mph in other canyons and passes. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Kern County mountain regions starting at 4 a.m. Monday until 4 a.m. Tuesday. The snow level is above 5,000 feet, and we are expecting around six inches of snow in the mountains.
