Thriving Gardens, Moving Time & Dried Persimmons

We had a heavy rain shower in the wee hours of the morning so it’s a little wet out here. But the garden is doing well, things are still growing; the okra and the eggplant, especially. I’m breaking down the lower garden, and getting the new garden ready for the year’s end and next year. The moving is finally getting under way and it’ll be a slow but steady task. And I also had time to make some treats- dried persimmons in my new dehydrator. Lots going on in the week’s episode.

"A garden is a grand teacher. It teaches patience and careful watchfulness; it teaches industry and thrift; above all it teaches entire trust." Gertrude Jekyll
