Voddie Baucham Dies at 56 Years Old He Was One of the Best Preachers of Our Generation. Voddie Baucham Jr., pastor, theologian and bestselling author known for his defense of biblical authority, has died after suffering an emergency medical incident, his family announced. “We are saddened to inform friends that our dear brother, Voddie Baucham, Jr., has left the land of the dying and entered the land of the living,” Baucham’s ministry, Founders Ministries, wrote on social media Thursday afternoon. Voddie Baucham Jr., was a pastor, theologian, bestselling author, conference speaker and was the president of two Bible colleges. One Bible college in Zambia, Africa and Then Founders Seminary in Florida. He was known for his fiery preaching and his defense of biblical authority. This is a big hit because Christians are already morning the lost of John MacArthur, Charlie Kirk, and Dr James Dobson. He held degrees in Christianity and sociology from Houston Baptist University, an M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a D.Min. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminar. Baucham also did post-graduate study at Regent’s Park College of the University of Oxford in England. What I liked most about Voddie was that he was able to boldly take on the political and social issues of the day and do so in a biblical manner. I wanted to take the time in this video to honor the man and his ministry. I also wanted to say thank you to Voddie for his great impact on my life and ministry.
