"We must be careful to guard our thoughts from judging and criticizing, because the worst demon is criticism. The first toll-house we will encounter is that of criticism. Therefore extreme humility is necessary. We must cast out whatever thoughts are impure and evil. Let us not allow anything filthy to remain within us, but cast out whatever is rotten, dusty, or covered with cobwebs. Let us have humility so that we may see the infinite compassion of God. We should humble ourselves, saying that we are the least of all. Let us be attentive."
