Zero tolerance doesn’t stop fights — it punishes victims. And that has to change

Too many schools are hiding behind zero-tolerance policies that punish victims just as harshly as bullies. These policies don’t stop fights — they teach kids to be victims, and they fail to protect the ones who need it most.
