ICE Arrests Superintendent Of Iowa Schools Who Is Illegal Migrant With Active Deportation Order

ICE has arrested the Superintendent of Des Moines, Iowa Public Schools, Dr. Ian Andre Roberts - an illegal migrant from GUYANA who's had a deportation order since *May 2024.*

ICE says Roberts is an active ICE fugitive, when they tried to detain him, announcing that they were immigration agents, Roberts took off in his car which he later ditched and ran away.

He was found in a brushy area 200 yards away with the help of an Iowa State Police K9.

According to an ICE official, agents found a loaded gun, a “fixed blade hunting knife”, and $3,000 cash in Robert’s vehicle.

Roberts first came into the country in 1999 on a F-1 student visa at St. John’s University. He overstayed that visa and was ordered deported.

On April 24, of this year an Immigration Judge in Dallas, TX denied a Motion to Reopen his immigration case.... Roberts also has a weapons arrest in 2020.
