Austin, TX, September 26, 2025 — Broadcasting from his Austin studio, Alex Jones says YouTube’s pledge to Congress to end political censorship is a “total fraud,” after his own channel was reinstated and then banned again overnight.

Jones told his audience he and Nick Fuentes deliberately tested Alphabet’s promise: “I said, Nick, Congress says Alphabet that owns Google and YouTube has written a letter. They claim they’ll stop all the political banning and everybody can come back. I said, it’s pure bull. I predict I’m going to go back on there today. I said, you should too. We’ll be banned by tomorrow morning.”

According to Jones, both he and Fuentes relaunched channels, uploaded videos about upcoming indictments, and were promptly banned — Jones at around 3 a.m. “That’s OK,” he said, “because then Congress will know that it was a lie.”

The Infowars host cited a letter to Congress from Alphabet promising to allow previously banned political creators back on the platform. House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan announced that “due to our oversight efforts, Google commits to offer all creators, previously kicked off YouTube for political speech violations, to return to their platform.” Jones called the maneuver a trap: “I didn’t do it as a futile gesture. I did it to expose it.”

Jones also blasted what he described as token concessions and secret algorithm manipulation under a so-called “pilot program”: “It could mean one of two things. It might mean they will do more later. Or it could mean it’s like a token concession, and it’s not actually what they’re saying. Big talk show hosts get called and told, ‘Better not do that or we’ll demonetize you.’”

The segment ended with Jones promising to take his evidence directly to Rep. Jordan: “I’m going to try to relaunch a channel today, give them my driver’s license, all of it. If they block it, that’s fine — then I’ll get it to Jim Jordan, who I can call on the phone, leave it right there. This is the process.”
