Assassin's Creed Shadows - A Farmer’s Plea and a Blade’s Promise

As I make my way toward Sakai, a faint but heartfelt lament draws me off the path and toward a humble farm nestled between weathered hills. There, I meet a desperate farmer—his voice frayed by sorrow, his hands stained with the dust of survival. Bandits have ravaged his fields and butchered his animals, and now all he has left are prayers whispered into the wind. When he asks for my help, I do not hesitate. I am no savior, not in the eyes of the world—but to him, I can be a blade that brings justice.

I promise to return. I do not yet know how many blades I will need to cleanse this land, but mine will be the first. For now, I carry his story with me. Another soul weighed down by the cruelty of those in power. Another name added to the quiet revolution building inside me. If the road I walk brings freedom to even one voice like his, then it is a road worth walking. I leave with renewed purpose, each step bringing me closer to Sakai—and closer to war.
