Beautiful Red Sky At Night In Buenos Aires

An intense red sky at night has generated hundreds of striking photos on social media following severe storms in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires. Over the weekend the region around the greater metropolitan area of Buenos Aires was hit by heavy rainfall, powerful gusts of wind, and hailstones as big as golf balls.
The National Meteorological Service issued severe weather warnings, and there were reports of damage to vehicles and to property.
However once the heavy rains had abated at between 6 pm and 7:30 pm on Sunday the residents of the Argentinian coastal region were treated to intense yellow skies, and strange otherworldly cloud formations.
