Are They Really Republicans Now? #charliekirk

Does anyone even read "descriptions" anymore? Anyway . . .

I've been seeing a lot of posts on my x.com account of people saying they are registering as Republicans and leaving the Democratic Party because of #charliekirk While I think that could potentially be a good thing I can't help but question if this is just a cry for attention using his death as their own personal soap-box to say "don't forget about me today" or if they are truly now embracing what it means to be a Conservative and what our values are.
