The STOP HATE Act: Congress’s Plan to Censor Free Speech

On July 23rd, Congress introduced the STOP HATE Act — a bill that claims to fight extremism online, but in reality, it’s one of the biggest threats to free speech we’ve ever seen. With $5 million-per-day fines for tech companies that don’t comply, this bill gives government and special interests the power to define what counts as “hate” — and to silence any dissenting voices.

This isn’t just Democrats. Republicans are co-sponsoring the bill too, and now they’re even using Charlie Kirk’s assassination to push for censorship under the guise of “safety.”

In this video, Julie Barrett of Conservative Ladies of America breaks down what’s in the bill, why it’s dangerous, and how both parties are working together to chip away at your First Amendment rights.
