We've gone through so many narrative cycles in the last few months that it's almost hard to remember when Democrats and other assorted lefties despised Trump and Musk so much that climate change was no longer a problem. For some reason I don't think these people actually believe all their "burning fossil fuels is causing an existential crisis for the entire planet" alarmism. This week, Sen. Kelly was the latest Dem to appear on the CBS late-night show "The Democrat Talking Points Hour With Stephen Colbert" and this one made me spit out some coffee: —— Mark Kelly: "We've never had a president that has spent his time thinking about how he's going to use the DOJ… It's shameful that we currently have a president that at every opportunity, seems to look for ways to further divide us as a nation." —— Weaponizing the DOJ? Where would Trump have ever gotten that idea? Maybe from Obama's "wingman" Eric Holder? Or maybe from Merrick Garland approving an FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago? Jack Smith? It's a total mystery.
