Saint Robert Bellarmine - Defending the Eucharist vs Protestants

St. Bellarmine was a bishop and is a Doctor of the Church, in great part, to his works in defending the Catholic faith against Protestantism, whom he called “the heretics” St. Bellarmine was not shy in calling this heresy out (needless to say I’m a big fan of St. Bellarmine!). His arguments are so good that I’m just going to read them focusing on his arguments for the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.

St. Bellarmine doesn’t fool around. His use of stories are so darn effective. He attacks the heresies of Protestantism in such a thought-provoking, respectful way. May we have the same boldness and effectiveness as St. Bellarmine in defending our great Catholic faith!! St. Bellarmine, pray for us!
