Pokémon ICE Raid Video Sparks BACKLASH With Calls for Company to Sue DHS

A recent meme video posted by the Department of Homeland Security, DHS, has caused a stir online with some calling for The Pokémon Company to sue the government.

The video is a parody of the Pokémon theme, but with videos of ICE raids arresting illegal migrates. This is an obvious play on the Pokémon tagline “Gotta Catch ‘Em All” but instead of Pokémon it’s illegals. Most took this for what it is, as a joke, but others are so made they think there is a lawsuit to be had. Unfortunately for them, this likely falls squarely under fair use and even if it didn’t, The Pokémon Company would have little to gain from perusing that.
