Join us for our weekly podcast(s) as we pretty much take a Singapore cane to all the news, rumors, cards, stats and everything else in our crazy world of pro wrestling. Over a century of following our sport between us, with varied involvement in wrestling.
We’re on live Sunday nights at 7pm est for our weekly discussions from RAW through to SmackDown. As we grow, I may directly include coverage for NXT instead of merely referencing some of the talent on their way up. Conversely, we may include coverage for those on their way down through AEW, TNA & ROH. Regardless, we will take pleasure keeping you posted of those on their paths up and down the ladder all over the world. We will regularly and randomly reference AAA, New Japan and various styles and promotions. Independents. Guys beating each other bloody for 50-100 people for gas money on the indy circuits each night.
Kayfabe Chronicles would like to take the time and thank- ultimately (TKO) the WWE, but more notably intermediaries where I might swipe a pic or some sort of media. And not to flag, demonetize, deplatform, etc as I attempt to teach myself production. Tell me, I’ll fix it. We are all Marks of the business. So whether it be WWE, AEW, NXT, TNA, AAA, ROH. Whether it be through intermediaries across the Internet ranging from news sites and small, fledgling Youtubers and creators in between. We thank you and appreciate whatever media I am trying to share. Keep in mind that there ain’t no money here. I’m not making anything nor getting hits for your clips or anything like that. It all comes from the WWE anyway. Or PWI. We’re all Marks, here.
This is where Broadway Tim gets into the frey. Into the brouhaha, slobber-knocker mosh-pit choreographed drama of artistic violence in the ring. A true artist of the business who always appreciated and brought a sharp flare for extravagance in a heavy metal vibe to the ring at the turn of the millennium. Broadway Tim took the Broadway moniker from Broadway Joe Namath as a teenager. Ric Flair was not the first Nature Boy. Pretty sure Buddy Rodgers wasn’t the original either.
After an MBA and more degrees than a thermometer later, Broadway began training under Adrian Street and worked out of Gulf Breeze-Pensacola, Florida. There’s not a huge number of wrestlers who ever officially graduated from Exotic Adrian Street’s SkullKrusher’s, but Broadway Timmy Cool pulled it off. Then on to the Pensacola Wrestling Academy, all by Blacksheep Bobby Doll, where Broadway spent the most of his short lived career. In a solid year in the rasslin’ business and just over a hundred professional and even a few real life fights, Broadway took one too many risky bumps. Having a real taste of incorporating hardcore into matches, he supplemented his lack of in ring experience with gimmicks including, but not limited to: chairs, Singapore Canes, tables, ladders- not climbing ladders, more just beat eachother with ladders, been busted open by New Jack with a thrown toaster, not to mention whatever his valet hit him with: high heels, her purse- bricks in her purse, a pipe in her purse, a giant dildo in her purse, her, when thrown at The Handsome One. Canes, walkers, road signs WITH POST still attached, a prosthetic limb- a hand. He worked for the Anoa’I family. Uh-huh. The Bloodline. The Super Hero In Training, Rosey of 3 Minute Warning to be precise. Roman Reigns was a teenager, who brought him water and ice. Met some of the Fatu family while in town as well. Broadway driven a million miles and done everything. 1/30 as much as some legends however.
Krazy Craig was a radio DJ in college, where he began running with Tim 1/4 a century ago and with Mike’s addition, we have a podcast. At this point, we’re husbands, fathers, fight clubbers, sons, and wrestling nerds since day 1…ish (sigh)…uce! And pat yourself on the back for making the decision to pal around with us as we wave off the Kayfabe and see what’s going on with our favorite in ring performers …wrestlers, dammit!
