WB is Scared to Give James Gunn Access to Batman!

James Gunn seems very focused on Superman and the extended Super-Family so far in the DCU. Three of the next Four projects are going to focus on the Man of Tomorrow's adventures, but the outlier and follow up focus on the most popular character in the DC canon who has yet to have a counterpart in the franchise.

Matt Reeves seems to be full steam ahead on The Batman: Part 2. A lot of attention is being placed on that project and given the year gap where Gunn is getting multiple installments in the DCU, it would serve to reason Warner Bros. is waiting to see if The Dark Knight need be handled by Gunn, or if Reeves is best suited to sheppard Bruce Wayne into their extended universe. Time will tell.
