Rep. Burlison says Democrats are using a potential government shutdown as leverage

Congressman Eric Burlison, R-Mo., said Tuesday that Democrats are using a potential government shutdown as a leveraging tool to get what they want despite them not being in the majority.

"They're trying to use the government shutdown as a leveraging tool against really what the American people voted for," Burlison said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "The American people voted [for] Republicans to be in control of the House, Senate and presidency."
