The Farm is currently facing a cull order for the almost 400 Ostriches there from the CFIA, Canadian Food Inspection Agency due to an outbreak of avian flu that began in December 2024 and resulted in the death of 69 ostriches. The owners have been fighting this order in court, arguing that the remaining ostriches are now healthy and valuable for scientific research.
