Should the Ten Commandments be in schools? Trey Smith

The Ten Commandments are the laws that God gave to Moses on Mount Sinai following the Exodus.

The Ten Commandments are as follows:
1) You shall have no other gods before Me.
2) You shall not make for yourself idols.
3) You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
4) Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
5) Honor your father and your mother.
6) You shall not murder.
7) You shall not commit adultery.
8) You shall not steal.
9) You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10) You shall not covet.

There has been no nation in recorded history with the prosper, freedom and innovations of the United States. The United States was dedicated to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel) at its very foundations. It is my humble view that this covenant with God, evidenced by this nation's attempt to keep these commandments, is the source of that prosper. Jesus said, "If you love me you will keep my commandments."
