In light of the Jimmy Kimmel/Disney situation, someone who actually faced career ruination and cancellation is speaking up to remind us of what this really looks like and how deep the corruption runs. Never one to mince words, Roseanne Barr is calling Barack and Michelle Obama to the mat for ultimately getting her axed from her wildly successful sitcom after a 2018 Twitter spree. As she made a joke at the expense of Obama's personal adviser, Valerie Jarrett, it's an open secret Barack made a call to Bob Iger to have Roseanne relieved of her duties. It's a more concrete connection than anything recently alleged between Trump and the FCC colluding to remove a washed up hack drawing negative ratings.
