Anchors down, beaches empty, and not a soul in sight.
In this episode of Sailing Dark Angel we cruise from Water Cay back to Georgetown, slipping through the skinny Hog Cay Cut.
Georgetown’s quiet for hurricane season, but the beaches are still gorgeous and all but ours.
From diving murky anchors at Honeymoon to chasing calmer water at Da Sand Bar, it’s all part of getting set for the next big blow.

⚠️ Lightning Strike Update
In real time, we were directly struck by lightning. Navigation systems, running lights, anchor lights, work lights, a large freezer, and even our keel were damaged. We're still facing VAT, duty, exchange rates, customs brokerage, and a costly haul-out for keel repairs in the Dominican Republic.
