#8 Drona Parvan

The fall of Bhishmahas relieved both the sides. All kinds of war tactics can now be employed openly. Karna enters the war and he suggests Drona’s name as the General. Drona does not enjoy the veneration of both the sides that his predecessor did. Though he fights vigorously, his sympathy for the other side has been visible from the first day. He leads the Dhartarashtras during five days and turns out to be the second losing General who cannot retain his life either.
