HBO Auditioning Female Actors for the Part of Voldemort in the Harry Potter Series

Rumors are going around that Warner Bros. is auditioning female actors for the role of Lord Voldemort in the upcoming Harry Potter series for HBO Max.

It still has not been confirmed whether or not a woman will be playing the part of Voldemort in the Harry Potter series, but this would not be the first time the studio made waves with their casting on this show. Previously it was announced they will be doing a race-swap for the character of Professor Snape. It’s possible that even if a female is playing the part of Voldemort that the character will still be male, but we won’t know until an announcement has been made official. One thing is for sure and that is Warner Bros. does not appear concerned about accuracy to the source material for the Harry Potter series on HBO Max.
