#3 Introduction to Sabhā Parvan

Sabhā-parvan, the second Parvan of the Mahābhārata, is the pivotal book of the eighteen Parvans. Sabhā-parvan depicts some of the crucial episodes of the main narrative of the epic which unfold the later episodes. We can say that Sabhā-parvan is one of the most interesting and diversified Parvans of Mahabharata. The Parvan begins with the description of precious Assembly
of Yudhiṣṭhira built by Mayāsura (Mayasabhā) and the Parvan ends with description of assembly of Kuru-s with the game of Dice.
