Thousands of people rallied in Athens on Sunday (September 21) in support of the father of a victim of Greece’s deadliest train disaster, who entered the seventh day of a hunger strike outside the parliament, demanding the right to exhume his son’s body. Panos Routsi, whose 22-year-old son Dennis was among the 57 killed in the 2023 Tempi collision, says prosecutors have blocked his requests, accusing authorities of concealing the truth about the crash.
