A new interview with retired French general Michel Yakovleff, former Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe and now professor at the Paris School of International Relations, on the NEMYRIALIVE program.

General Yakovleff graduated from the Saint-Cyr military school and had a brilliant military career, mainly in the French Foreign Legion. He commanded the First Foreign Cavalry Regiment and previously led the Second Corps during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf. In addition, he participated in numerous missions in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Senegal and most of the Balkan countries, and was a member of Task Force North as part of the international peacekeeping force in Kosovo.
