Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play action role-playing game developed and published by miHoYo. It was released outside mainland China by HoYoverse. The game was released on Windows, iOS, Android and PlayStation 5 on July 4, 2024. A port for Xbox Series X/S was released on June 6, 2025.

The Hollow's presence on 14th Street, in the old Metro Junction area of Cretton Hollow, is confirmed, with the terrain being particularly complex and dangerous.

The incident leads directly into the first chapter, where you and your team must navigate the perilous Hollow to rescue Billy and recover the strongbox.

In the first official chapter, the events of the prologue set off a new chain of commissions and conflicts.

Consequences of the Heist: The Cunning Hares are now targeted by Nekomata, an agent from the rival faction Section 6, who wrongly believes the Cunning Hares were responsible for Miguel Silver's corruption.

The Metro Project: As you continue working as a Proxy, you become entangled in a conspiracy involving the Vision Corporation. You discover that the company is secretly planning a demolition that would endanger refugees sheltering in a Hollow, all to reduce costs on a Capital Metro renovation project.

Teaming Up: You ultimately partner with the Cunning Hares to expose Vision's plot, rescue the civilians, and help Nekomata retrieve a family heirloom from the Hollow.
Nekomata's Change of Heart: After working together, Nekomata realizes her mistake and joins the Cunning Hares, and the Vision Corporation is exposed. This concludes the opening chapters and sets up the central story of the main game.
