TBE Journal Episode 5: Does your Attitude Leave a Sweet-smelling Aroma or an Offensive Smell?

Out of our five senses, I always felt like our sense of smell was one of our most powerful senses. We associate our memories through our sense of smell. It was always a comforting, feeling coming home and smelling my mom baking her decadent cookies. Some of my favorite scents I associate with my favorite things.

There are verses in the Bible that encourage us to leave a sweet-smelling fragrance of Christ. When we are more like Jesus, we diffuse a sweet-smelling aroma that attracts others to find salvation. However, when we have a bad attitude, we leave a scent that drives people away from Christ. So, it is very important to lead with the right scent. I will start with reading the devotional I wrote, have a short discussion about the devotional, share a few bible verses and conclude with prayer. I encourage you to spread the sweet-smelling perfume of Christ by living righteously.
