Yom Kippur explained simply and celebrated - Part 1 of 2

Over the period of these Jewish High Holy Days, in addition to our weekly study on Saturday of Romans we are going to, every other day, take a look at the Jewish High Holy Days, continuing today, with Part 1 of 2 for "Yom Kippur" explained. Why you ask, I'm a Christ-follower, not Jewish. Well, Christ was a Jewish man who followed and observed the Jewish Feasts. And since we who believe in Jesus as our Savior and Lord; are also "Abraham's seed" through Jesus Christ, his natural seed, these "High Holy Days" are of importance. Look through history and you'll see, many historic things have occurred on the Jewish Feast Days. God moves on the Jewish Calendar.
